Upcoming Australian singer/songwriter, Jaime Wells has been garnering some great feedback lately. Having penned all but two of the twelve songs from her forthcoming album, Jaime is now poised to take the world by storm.
The album ‘A Softer Side of Contradiction’ transports the listener through a landscape of twelve tracks that run the gamut from moving emotional observations to cleverly disguised witticisms, all of which “delve into the realm of personal relationships” says Jaime. The single ‘Stupid Boy’ has already attracted some attention for its amusingly sharp lyrics and quirky arrangements.
As an indication of her search for a global audience, Jaime penned her songs in Australia and recorded her album in Canada. This is the year that will see the world fall in love with the purity and depth, that is Jaime Wells.
Jaime's debut album will soon be available in all online outlets and at live shows. Jaime is currently in the top 125 finalists in the Vanda and Young songwriting contest.
